Booking an Extra Transfer

As a Welcome Driver, you can book additional transfers for our travellers, using  the app. These can be return transfers to the airport, extra in-city rides, or sightseeing rides in destinations where we offer the service. You can even book transfers in other destinations where we operate.

Why booking an extra transfer is a good idea

Return transfers, in-city rides and sightseeing rides (where applicable) all contribute to your metrics and leaderboard score! On top of that, when booking on your app you can assign the transfer to yourself!

When operating a pickup you will usually see a prompt to suggest a return transfer to the travellers

How to book a return transfer

At the end of the ride tap on the (+) icon, which will take you to the booking page. Once there, select the name of the traveller.

To add a regular transfer, select "Add a Transfer Booking", to add a sightseeing ride, select "Add a Tour Booking". The next page is the booking details. Add date, time, pickup and drop-off locations. Tap on “Submit Details & Confirm”.

Next up is the cost and payment method. It is advised to get the travellers to pay when they are with you. In order to do that , select “Flat Cost” and “Traveler is with me - Will Pay NOW”. On the driver assignment section, go ahead and select “Assign to ME” if you can operate the transfer.

On the next screen the traveller will need to sign for the transfer to be paid with their registered card

If you did not get the chance to book with the travellers at the end of their ride, do not worry! At any time the traveler may request a booking, you can access the booking page directly by going to the schedule tab and taping on the (+) icon

If you want to book for a completely new customer, you can do so by following the same process. On the schedule tab, tap on the (+) icon and then select “Book for new customer” on the next screen

You can also book for a new traveller. 3. Booking extra transfers will positively impact your leaderboard metrics. You can assign these transfers to yourself. 4. To book, press the (+) icon either at the end of the ride or at the schedule tab and follow the instructions.
